Excerpts from Aspiration:
Do not imagine that truth and falsehood, light and darkness, surrender and selfishness can be allowed to dwell together in the house consecrated to the Divine.
Aspiration should not be a form of desire, but the feeling of an inner soul’s need, and a quiet settled will to turn towards the Divine and seek the Divine.
True aspiration does not come from the head; even when it is formulated by a thought, it springs up like a flame from the heart.
….. the intensity of the aspiration brings the intensity of the experience and by repeated intensity of the experience, the change.
